Travel Comm debuts California ad campaign
Sacramento Business Journal
The California Travel and Tourism Commission's latest television advertisement campaign starts airing this week.
The spot, called "Work," was produced by Sacramento's MeringCarson and will be launched nationwide. The ad spot plays off the notion that in California, even work is play. The 30-second spot features actresses Vanessa Williams and Vanessa Marcil, actor Rob Lowe, professional skateboarder Paul Rodriguez Jr., professional cyclist Levi Leipheimer, golfer Phil Mickelson, songwriter Chris Isaak and winemaker Andrew Firestone.
The commercial closes with an invitation from Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and First Lady Maria Shriver to visit the Golden State. The ad airs on major broadcast and cable channels.
