MeringCarson Hires Tammy Haughey
Travel & Tourism Expert Latest Addition to Growing Advertising Agency

The Oceanside office of MeringCarson, recently hired Tammy Haughey to manage the national account activities for the California Travel and Tourism Commission and the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, as well as participate in new business efforts.
“We are thrilled to have Tammy join our team and add her experience to our agency’s travel and tourism expertise,” said Dave Mering, the agency’s CEO. “She has a spectacular resume having worked for some of the resort industry’s biggest names as well as bringing a coveted skill set and energy level to our rapidly growing Southern California office.”
Haughey began her advertising career in 1991 and has worked on a wide range of accounts including SeaWorld San Diego, Hilton Gaming (Las Vegas Hilton, Reno Hilton, Flamingo Hilton), Paragon Steakhouse Restaurants (Hunter Steakhouse, Carvers, Red Oak), Destination Hotels & Resorts (Hotel Del Coronado, Estancia La Jolla) and the San Diego Visitors and Convention Bureau. Haughey earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Diego State University with a concentration in advertising and a minor in marketing.
